Growing up an only child instilled a desire to preserve all whimsy, and simultaneously to grow up as fast as possible. Having yearned for an imaginary friend that I could never quite conjure, I turned to drawing a series of ‘sister selves’ alongside a compounding world of characters and symbols. In their held hands, I define a sovereign self.
